Checklist 1
Check the EP route against current ICA wording
ICA identifies eligible Employment Pass holders among the people who may apply through a published PR route. Read the current ICA wording and verify that the applicant's present EP status matches the category before preparing the file.
- Confirm the current EP and the applicant's status.
- Use ICA for the PR category and MOM for Employment Pass rules.
- Treat route fit as permission to check the application path, not an outcome forecast.
Checklist 2
Reconcile the employment records
Use ICA's current checklist to identify the employment, identity, income and education records requested for the route. Check employer names, role dates, pass details and compensation information against the source records.
- Use the exact employer and role names shown in the records.
- Check that pass details and dates are consistent across the file.
- Keep only relevant, accurate evidence; do not add folklore about approval factors.
Checklist 3
Resolve changes before handing off
If the EP, employer, role or work status changes while preparing or waiting, recheck the current ICA and MOM instructions. Keep the application record accurate and do not assume an old pass document remains sufficient.

Hand the checklist to the general filing guide
When the EP facts are reconciled, use the general application and document guides for the official submission channel, requested files and record-keeping steps. This page should not duplicate those filing instructions.
