Step 1
Begin with a route and instruction check
Identify the published ICA category that fits the principal applicant and read its current instructions. Confirm who may be included and what evidence is requested before starting the form.
Step 2
Prepare and submit the application
Complete the official application with truthful, consistent information. Upload readable documents in the requested format, review declarations and pay the official fee shown in the service.
Save the confirmation and reference details. A careful submission reduces avoidable clarification work, but it does not change the fact that ICA makes the decision.
Step 3
Respond during review
Monitor the official contact channel and respond to an ICA request within its stated timeframe. Keep copies of all replies and do not send passwords, one-time codes or unnecessary sensitive files to an unofficial intermediary.
Step 4
Read the decision and complete the next formalities
If approved, follow ICA's instructions and deadlines for the next formalities. If the result is not favourable, retain the notice and read any available instructions before deciding whether an appeal or a future application is appropriate.
